Adam Kirshenblatt: The win streak ends with a thud

Coming up, the Devils have a couple of days off before they face the New York Rangers on Friday night and then the New York Islanders on Saturday night. However, before those games, they will be practicing on the rink at Central Park that was built as part of the festivities for the Winter Classic between the Rangers and the Buffalo Sabres. It will be a good chance for them to have some fun and put Tuesday’s game behind them.

Why can't Brown hit the net more often than he misses???

I don't mind a loss if the team shows up and puts up a fight, that is not the case with last night. They never left the locker room and allowed their tendy to get shelled and humiliated. I hope this is a rallying point.

Maybe we can finally see Fantenberg since the streak has ended (even though he was in for a few at the start anyways)

That's great for a 4th liner, but I think we can expect both to be hit... His high and wide ended up going the other way in a hurry and on that possession NJ scored.
